1939 Chrysler Imperial Coupe
This lovingly restored beauty was found in a sand pit and restored to its current glory by my father a long-time member of the WPC and car enthusiast. It was his pride and joy. It has been featured in BOOK and several magazines including WPC News, and in the October 2023 issue of Collectible Automobile (email me for a digital version).
Only 492 coupes (C-23) were built in 1939.
The body is in excellent condition and the interior is in very good condition with the unique jump seats in the rear. It is a straight 8 with cruise-climb overdrive. 323.5 cu in. 141 HP. 3,520 lbs. 125” wheel base. 21 gap fuel tank. Original cost in 1939 was $1,123.
The car has been in storage in Racine, Wisconsin (one hour north of Chicago) and not driven since 2017. It will need to be towed and the price reflects this.
Asking $20,000.
